One day the creator of 11&Chic.com, was at a department store looking for a pair of in season boots. She looked at one pair of Steve Madden’s and just had to try them on. She asked a sales rep if they came in her size. The woman said let me check. When she came back she said, “Sorry no we don’t carry these in your size.” So upset but never deterred she looked for another pair of boots. She picked up a new beautiful pair of Michael Kors boots, and asked again. The sales representative said, “Let me check.” When the sales representative came back she received the same disappointing news. She looked at the racks filled with shoes by size and saw that all the size 11 shoes were less than appealing or didn’t suit her individual style. She looked around and saw her family browsing around asking for shoes, getting them and being able to try them on. She felt so defeated, all she wanted, all that she had been looking forward to was getting a nice pair of in season leather boots. That’s all she wanted and she didn’t have the option to see or even try on what she wanted, but everyone else in smaller size was able to. It didn’t feel fair.

The creator of 11&Chic.com, could not accept this injustice anymore. It was an injustice. Why? Because everybody else could find what they were looking for. But how come when it came to finding size 11 shoes, it was so hard! Every girl should have the chance to wear and purchase beautiful designer shoes that come in her size.

That’s when she came up with the idea to start a website that was just exclusively for people who wear size 11 shoes. No online retailers that sold their own less than desirable shoes. This website would showcase shoes that are designer, in season, in style, and in size 11.

That is how 11&Chic was created, just by a girl who was tired of never having designer shoes available in her own size deciding to put an end to it for every woman. But to be fair just because you’re not size 11 doesn’t mean that this website isn’t for you. The shoes featured here are in size 11 and available in the sizes below size 11. We also offer fashion ideas and inspiration for every woman. But now girls who wear size 11 are included in all the joys of fashion and never excluded anymore.  Happy browsing and happy shopping!
